Dozens of domains referencing \u201cCrowdStrike\u201d have been registered since Friday. These websites can host phishing pages, malware, or scams, and in many instances, purport to offer \u2018fixes\u2019 that users must pay for.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Avoid clicking on links that offer assistance with CrowdStrike. Don\u2019t visit unknown websites that claim to help in remedying your issue. Instead, only contact Boston University directly for support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(51, 51, 51)\">If you have a computer that is affected by the outage and need help, please contact the IT Help Center at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ithelp@bu.edu\" data-ogsc=\"\" title=\"mailto:ithelp@bu.edu\" data-outlook-id=\"195b2504-ab4b-48e0-b808-6dffc637b771\">ithelp@bu.edu<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"tel:617-353-4357\" data-ogsc=\"\" title=\"tel:617-353-4357\" data-outlook-id=\"44d99252-419d-4ccc-aea9-d3e88efe5fce\">617-353-HELP (4357)<\/a>.
