Clients are now able to access BU services protected by Duo 2 Factor security without issue.<\/p>\n<h4>Incident Description and Resolution<\/h4>\n<p>IS&#038;T teams have confirmed regular service is now available.<\/p>\n<h4>Additional Information<\/h4>\n<p>It appears that Duo was impacted by a larger outage of AWS in Oregon\/Northern California, which was resolved Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>If you continue to have issues, please contact the <a href=\"mailto:ithelp@bu.edu\">IT Help Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"update\">Previous Update<\/h4>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Incident Discovery Time:<\/strong> 10:28am on 12\/15\/2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>Services Impacted:<\/strong> Duo Authentication<\/p>\n<h4>Description of Impact<\/h4>\n<p>Duo is currently experiencing an interruption in service where after authentication, a blank grey box is presented. This impacts many critical campus services such as BUworks, The Links, VPN, and more.<\/p>\n<h4>Current Status<\/h4>\n<p>IS&#038;T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating. <\/p>\n<h4>Additional Information<\/h4>\n<p>There are no workarounds for this issue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Update:<\/strong> 11:30am<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Duo service is now restored.
