Star Rez, the vendor behind the BU housing portal, had a widespread outage involving multiple universities. This affected the incoming student check in process on Friday, as both staff and students had intermittent access to the housing portal all day. Approximately 1,000 students arrived yesterday. The housing office was able to check them in using manual processes.<\/p>\n
