BU Information Security Presents:\u00a0Free paper shredding! Securely dispose of your hard drive!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year during the month of October, as part of National Cyber-Security Awareness Month, Boston University conducts an annual Information Security Awareness Campaign. We are happy to announce, in conjunction with the\u00a0IS&T Tech Fair<\/a>, that we will once again be offering 3 days of free paper shredding and collection of unwanted computing equipment to be securely destroyed and recycled. Materials brought for shredding on 10\/9 or 10\/10 will earn you a prize at the IS&T Tech Fair on 10\/10. Additionally, we are collaborating with both\u00a0BUMC IT<\/a><\/u>\u00a0and\u00a0sustainability@BU<\/a>\u00a0so that we may provide a more holistic service to the BU community.<\/p>\n

This is also a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the\u00a0University’s Record Retention Policy<\/a><\/u>.\u00a0 Do you have old University records that need shredding?\u00a0 Bring them over and let us shred them for you!<\/p>\n
