Note:<\/strong> If you have just been migrated to Exchange Online, we expect you will need to delete and re-add your account to your Android device using the following steps.<\/em><\/div>\n

These instructions might vary slightly across devices and versions, but are expected to be helpful to all users of the Android OS. You can also refer to this video to set up email on an Android device<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to Settings.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Under Accounts, select Add Account.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Depending on your version of Android, select either\u00a0Corporate<\/strong> or\u00a0Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync<\/strong>.

  4. Enter your complete e-mail address<\/strong>, which is\u00a0login@bu.edu<\/strong><\/em> (where login <\/em>is your BU login name.)

  5. Enter your\u00a0Kerberos password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. If prompted enter outlook.office365.com<\/strong>\u00a0for the server address.<\/li>\n
  8. If prompted check Use Secure Connection<\/strong> and Accept All SSL Certificates<\/strong>.

  9. Set your Account options <\/strong>such as Days To Sync, Notifications, Sync Contacts, Sync Calendar.

  10. Click Done<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  11. Click Activate<\/strong> to activate device administrator.

  12. Name the account<\/strong> to distinguish between multiple accounts.
