If you do not see that option, go to the <strong>Tools<\/strong> menu and select <strong>Accounts<\/strong>.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"out11mac_exaccount\" src=\"\/tech\/files\/2010\/11\/out11mac_exaccount.jpg\" alt=\"out11mac_exaccount\" height=\"241\" width=\"351\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Then, in the lower-left corner of the Accounts window, click the + to<strong> Add an account<\/strong>, and then select <strong>Exchange<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the account setup window, provide your email address and other information, as described below:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter your email address in the form <em>login<\/em>@bu.edu (where <em>login <\/em>is your BU login name)<\/li>\n<li>Make sure Authentication Method is set User Name and Password<\/li>\n<li>Set user name to<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>login<\/em><span>@bu.edu (where <\/span><em>login <\/em><span>is your BU login name)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Enter your password<\/li>\n<li>Make sure there is a check mark next to <strong>Configure Automatically<\/strong> and then click <strong>Add Account.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"\/tech\/files\/2016\/03\/Outlook2011_Office365.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-97845 size-full\" src=\"\/tech\/files\/2016\/03\/Outlook2011_Office365.png\" height=\"537\" width=\"636\" alt=\"Account setup window in gray with labeled email address, authentication method, user name, and password fields, and a checkbox for automatic configuration.\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Close the Accounts window and you should be all set to begin using Outlook.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outlook 2011 for Mac is available to faculty and staff (along with the full Office suite) for use on BU-owned machines AND for use at home through BU&#8217;s Microsoft Enterprise Agreement.
