If you would like to change the list of devices you use to log in with Duo Security, you can use the Device Management portal to add a new device or remove an old one. You can reach this portal directly at\u00a0<\/span>duomgmt.bu.edu<\/span><\/a>, or by selecting\u00a0<\/span>Manage devices<\/span><\/b>\u00a0the next time\u00a0you’re\u00a0prompted to log in with Duo.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are already enrolled with Duo and selected the\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Remember me for 30 days<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0option, you will not see the Duo prompt (or any prompt from Duo) for those\u00a030 days. During this period, you can clear your cookies or try a different browser to bring back the prompt.\u00a0You may also contact the IT Help Center for assistance managing your devices.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Go to\u00a0<\/span>duomgmt.bu.edu<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and log in with your BU login name and Kerberos\u00a0password.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Verify your identity using one of your existing enrolled devices.\u00a0You’ll\u00a0then land on the Device Management page, where each enrolled device (security key, passkey, phone, etc.) appears as its own card.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. The Device Management page allows you to add, replace, rename, or remove a new device.<\/span>\n

    1. Depending on your device, you may also see Windows Hello (Windows)<\/strong> or Touch ID (Mac) <\/strong>as add-a-device options:\n
        \n
      • Windows Hello<\/strong>: Not available for Duo Authentication for Windows Logon (RDP).<\/li>\n
      • Touch ID<\/strong>: Only works to verify from the same device it’s enrolled on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        To\u00a0<\/span>add a new device<\/span><\/b>,<\/span>\u00a0click the\u00a0<\/span>Add\u00a0a device<\/span><\/b>\u00a0tile, then choose Duo Mobile, a security key, or a phone number as the new method.\u00a0IS&T strongly recommends users to use Duo Mobile.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"\"*To <\/span><\/span>replace a phone<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>you’ve<\/span>\u00a0upgraded, click\u00a0<\/span><\/span>“I have a new phone”<\/span><\/span>\u00a0on that\u00a0<\/span>device<\/span>\u00a0card and follow the same steps as adding a new phone number.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"\"*To\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>rename or remove<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>c<\/span>lick\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Edit<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>on that device card and choose the de<\/span>sired option<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>option<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>4.
