When the site you are on also uses content from a standard HTTP connection, the content is only partially encrypted.  Modern browsers have begun restricting HTTP connections to secure sites.<\/p>\n<p>This is called a web page with <strong>mixed content<\/strong>.When trying to log in to Digication to view your e-Portfolio you may find that clicking the login button has no effect.  What follows are steps to adjust your browser settings in the event your browser is preventing your access to e-Portfolio.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h3 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Safari<\/h3><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Safari.<\/li>\n<li>In the upper left-hand corner of your monitor, click <strong>Safari<\/strong> and then <strong>Preferences&#8230;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Privacy<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Block cookies:<\/strong> section, select the <strong>Never<\/strong> radio button.<\/li>\n<li>Close the Preferences window. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h3 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Firefox<\/h3><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Firefox.<\/li>\n<li>Log in to Blackboard Learn and click on the e-Portfolio tab<\/li>\n<li>Click one of the two <strong>Login<\/strong> buttons<\/li>\n<li>Once you&#8217;ve clicked on <strong>Login<\/strong> you should notice a shield icon in the left hand side of your browser address bar<\/li>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/tech\/files\/2014\/04\/firefox_mixedcontent.png\" alt=\"Firefox Shield\" width=\"346\" height=\"161\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76011\" \/><\/p>\n<li>Click on the shield icon and click the arrow next to <strong>Keep Blocking<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Disable Protection on this Page<\/strong><\/li>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/tech\/files\/2014\/04\/firefox_disableprotection.png\" alt=\"Firefox Disable Protection\" width=\"500\" height=\"222\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76008\" \/><\/p>\n<li>The page will refresh.
