When you visit a secure web page that is delivered via HTTPS protocol your connection is encrypted and secured. When the site you are on also uses content from a standard HTTP connection, the content is only partially encrypted. Modern browsers have begun restricting HTTP connections to secure sites.<\/p>\n

This is called a web page with mixed content<\/strong>. When trying to log in to Digication to view your e-Portfolio you may find that clicking the login button has no effect. What follows are steps to adjust your browser settings in the event your browser is preventing your access to e-Portfolio.<\/p>\n

Firefox<\/h3>
<\/p>\n

  1. Open Firefox.<\/li>\n
  2. Log in to Blackboard Learn and click on the e-Portfolio tab<\/li>\n
  3. Click one of the two Login<\/strong> buttons located within the Digication frame below the e-Portfolio tab.<\/li>\n
  4. Once you’ve clicked on Login<\/strong> you should notice a shield icon in the left hand side of the browser address bar<\/li>\n
  5. Click on the shield icon and click the arrow next to Keep Blocking<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Select Disable Protection on this Page<\/strong><\/li>\n

  7. The page will refresh. Click Login<\/strong> to login and access e-Portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Google Chrome<\/h3>

    1. Open Google Chrome.<\/li>\n
    2. Log in to Blackboard Learn and click on the e-Portfolio tab<\/li>\n

    5. Click Load unsafe script<\/strong><\/li>\n

      Microsoft Edge<\/h3>

      1. Open the Edge browser.<\/li>\n
      2. Locate the lock icon on the address bar and click on it. From the drop-down list, select “Permissions for this site”<\/strong>. <\/li>\n

      3. Scroll down and find “Insecure content.”<\/strong> Click its drop-down list to change “Block (default)” to “Allow”.<\/strong> <\/li>\n
