For more information and instructions about using the Gradebook, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/teaching\/lms\/blackboard\/instructors\/gradebook-ultra\/\">check out this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span>To accelerate your grading process, you can download students&#8217; assessment submissions and view them offline. You can download all or only selected submissions as a single ZIP file. <strong>Unzip<\/strong> or expand the file to view the contents. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Each submission is saved as a separate file with each student&#8217;s username.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Your TAs, Facilitators, and Graders are also allowed to download assessment submissions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Institution Page\u00a0<\/strong>or your course&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Course Content<\/strong> page, navigate to the Ultra\u00a0<strong>Gradebook<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the download option from these areas in the Gradebook:\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"emphasize\">List view<\/span><\/strong>: Item&#8217;s<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Submissions<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>page &gt; menu in the header row<\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"emphasize\">Grid view<\/span><\/strong>: Item&#8217;s menu<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/2019-09\/ultra_instr_gradebook_bulk_download.png\" width=\"539\" height=\"192\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"Preview of Download Assignment in Gradebook\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span>On the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Download Assessment Files<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0page, select the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Name<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Date<\/span><\/strong><span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>column header to sort the submissions.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/2019-09\/ultra_instr_gradebook_bulk_download_2.png\" width=\"475\" height=\"363\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"Preview of Download Assessment Files\u00a0page\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Select the check box next to the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Name<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>column to select all submissions or select submissions individually. If you select all,<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"emphasize\">only submissions with files and text provided by students in the editor are included in the ZIP file<\/span>.\n<ul>\n<li>If you allowed multiple attempts, the files for all attempts for each student are included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Create ZIP File<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>to start the process.<\/li>\n<li>In the pop-up box, select<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Send<\/span><\/strong>. The file is created in the background and you automatically return to the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Submissions<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>list page or grid view. The process takes a few moments based on the size of the file.<\/li>\n<li><span>You receive an email and a course message when the ZIP file is ready to download to your computer. On your course&#8217;s\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Messages<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0page or in your email, select the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"interface\">Download now<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0link.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/2019-09\/ultra_instr_gradebook_bulk_download_message.png\" width=\"453\" height=\"149\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"Preview of downloaded assignments on Messages\u00a0page\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>If you delete the email and course message with the link to download the file, you have to rerun the download.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can also download the full gradebook or select columns from your Ultra courses. You can export the file in a comma-delimited (CSV) or tab-delimited (XLS) format.
