  1. For Firefox versions 4.0 to 28.0<\/strong>, click the orange Firefox<\/strong> icon, located in the upper left-hand corner of your Firefox browser. For Firefox version 29.0 and above<\/strong>, click the menu icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the browser and then, in the window that appears, click the question mark icon.<\/li>\n
  2. For Firefox 4.0 to 28.0<\/strong>, in the menu that appears mouse-over Help ><\/strong> and then click on the About Firefox<\/strong> option. For Firefox version 29.0 and above<\/strong>, click the About Firefox<\/strong> link.

  3. A small window will appear providing you with your Firefox browser’s version number.

  4. Depending on your rights on the computer, or if the browser is not fully up-to-date, you may or may not see a Check for Updates<\/strong> button. If you do, you can click this button to check for the latest version of Firefox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
