Alternatively, <strong>the action may just hang, in which case you will see a progress bar but your report never appears on the screen. <\/strong>If that happens, you will need to take the following steps to view your reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Windows<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quit Firefox and go to your <strong>Control Panel<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Java<\/strong> applet<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Security<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n<li>Click on the<strong> Edit Site List<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Add<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<li>Type in: <strong>https:\/\/www.bu.edu<\/strong> and then click the OK button<\/li>\n<li>Close out of Java<\/li>\n<li>Load <strong>Firefox<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Log on to EOS Thin Client (bu.edu\/link)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If you see an <strong>RSD Roger Software Distribution SA Java<\/strong> window, click on the <strong>Run<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<li>You should now see your report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You should only need to take these steps once for any computer on which you are using EOS Thin Client <\/strong>and this issue only occurs with Mozilla Firefox (Internet Explorer has not shown the same symptoms).<\/p>\n<p>The EOS Thin Client vendor is working on a solution for this Java\/Firefox\/EOS Thin Client compatibility bug and we will post an update here when they have a fix.
