For this reason, you will find that certain browsers are recommended or even required when accessing particular BU resources. The information below will help you determine which browser versions allow access to the applications you use most frequently. Also provided are instructions for making any required changes to your browser or browser settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BUworks &#8211;<\/strong> As described in more detail on the <a href=\"\/tech\/admin\/buworks\/requirements\/\">Browser &amp; System Requirements<\/a> page for BUworks, Windows 7 or higher required,\u00a0<span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Chrome<i class=\"icon-external-link external\"><\/i><\/a><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>(latest version) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/organizations\/faq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Firefox ESR<\/a>\u00a0 (Latest Extended Support Release) are the recommended browsers.\u00a0<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safari and Microsoft Edge may work for your BUworks tasks, but they are not currently part of BUworks testing protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Blackboard Learn<\/strong> &#8211; Most popular browsers are acceptable for use for Blackboard. See the <a href=\"\/tech\/teaching\/lms\/blackboard\/system-requirements\/\">System Requirements for Blackboard Learn<\/a> page for more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OnBase<\/strong><span>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/span>OnBase 17 works with Microsoft Edge, Firefox 52+, and Chrome 57+. Clients are encouraged to upgrade to the most recent available browser version and be compatible with all systems they use.
