During these times, it is acceptable for the services to be periodically unavailable.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Why using the established change windows are important:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure IS&amp;T aligns with the strategies of our BU stakeholders (BUPD (BU Police), ENSA (Enrollment Services), Agganis Arena, WBUR, Conference Services, etc.) by avoiding changes during times that are critical to their business.<\/li>\n<li>Minimize impact of downtime for IS&amp;T services used by the BU community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">IS&amp;T Change Windows Schedule<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Change Windows Days and Hours:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 2:00 AM to 6:30 AM<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sunday: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>**These change windows are applicable except during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/about\/service\/change\/enterprise-restriction-dates\/\">Enterprise Restriction Dates<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Important Notes:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/about\/service\/change\/enterprise-restriction-dates\/\">Enterprise Restriction Dates<\/a>, all change requests are subject to review to ensure they don&#8217;t impact the purpose of the restriction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Changes that may cause or potentially cause impacts are deferred to a later period.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For Questions:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you have any questions about the Change Window schedule, please contact\u00a0<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"mailto:ithelp@bu.edu\" class=\"editor-rtfLink\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ithelp@bu.edu<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IS&amp;T Change Windows IS&amp;T Change Windows are predefined times when the University has agreed that changes can occur.
