Transfer Files Between Collections<\/h2>\n

  1. Login to Globus<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Select FILE MANAGER<\/b> in left-side menu [1]<\/code>. In the Collection<\/b> field at the top, choose a collection you’d like transfer to\/from (i.e. RCS-Macbook) [2]<\/code>. On the right-side menu, select Transfer or Sync to…<\/b> [3]<\/code>.

  3. A second collection viewer will spawn on the right. Click in the new Collection<\/b> field to search for another collection [1]<\/code>.

  4. Enter the name of your second collection (i.e. BU SCC Globus Collection) [1]<\/code>. Select the appropriate collection [2]<\/code>.

  5. You’ll be brought back to the dual-menu File Manager window, where you can select the files you wish to transfer. Select the files and folders in the navigation pane and and click Start ►<\/b> to move from collection on left to right or ◀ Start<\/b> to move from right to left.

    \nThe file transfer will be scheduled and can be monitored in the Activity<\/b> viewer listed on the left-side menu. You will receive an email when the transfer has been completed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
