Step-by-Step Instructions to Embed Public Instagram Post onto your WordPress Site<\/h2>\n

The Instagram embed code is easiest to access using a desktop or laptop computer. You may embed an Instagram photo or video post on a WordPress page or in a BU Text Widget<\/a> sidebar. Instagram does not provide native support for embedding Instagram live feeds onto external sites.<\/p>\n

  1. Using a computer, navigate to the specific Instagram post’s URL on Instagram.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. In the top-right corner while viewing the post, click the three dots (\u2022\u2022\u2022) next to the username. Then click the Embed<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the Copy Embed Code<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  4. Go to your BU WordPress Site Admin<\/strong> to edit<\/strong> the Page<\/strong> or the BU Text Widget<\/strong> where you want the Instagram post to appear.<\/li>\n
  5. When using the content editor, select the Text tab<\/strong> (HTML view) so you can paste code. Do not use the Visual tab for code. Paste<\/strong> the entire block embed code into the Text tab of the content editor.<\/li>\n
  6. You may preview the page or widget to ensure the Instagram post is displaying before saving. If it appears correctly, Publish<\/strong> your page or Save<\/strong> the widget.<\/li>\n
