The SAP HANA Database Report Writer role authorizes a Boston University employee to access SAP HANA Views in order to build<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>self-service<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>reports or dashboards using a tool like Microsoft Power BI. Role a<\/span><\/span>ssignment is contingent upon:<\/p>\n

  1. Supervisor’s approval of an access request, and<\/li>\n
  2. Form submission with your name, your department, your Boston University email address, and a statement of the business reason for your request<\/li>\n
  3. Attendance in the training workshop SAP HANA Views – Introduction for new Report Writers<\/a> (click to register)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
