Instructors can also access new submissions from the stream.<\/li>\n<li>Receive reminders about student performance, personal events, and meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy a bird&#8217;s eye view of course activity and direct access to course items.<\/li>\n<li>Filter your view. Use the<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Filter<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>menu and choose<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Show All<\/span>,<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Assignments and Tests<\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0<span class=\"interface\">Grades and Feedback<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Notifications<\/h3>\n<p>You can choose the types of notifications you receive and how they&#8217;re delivered to you.<\/p>\n<p>On your<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Activity Stream<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>page, select the<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Stream Settings<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>icon to open the<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Notification Settings<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>panel. You can also access these settings from your profile page.<\/p>\n<p>On your activity stream&#8217;s<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Notification Settings<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>panel, you can choose which notifications you receive about activity in<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"emphasize\">all<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>your <strong>Original<\/strong> and <strong>Ultra<\/strong> courses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"emphasize\">Activity stream<\/span>: Choose which activities appear on your<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"interface\">Stream<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>page.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"emphasize\">Email<\/span>: If you want to receive email notifications, add an email address to your profile page. Then, choose how often and which activities you want to receive notifications for.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"emphasize\">SMS<\/span>: If you want to receive SMS text messages on your mobile phone, add a phone number to your profile page. Then, choose how often and which activities you want to receive notifications for.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"emphasize\">Push notifications<\/span>: Messages pop up on your mobile device if you have the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/Learn\/Instructor\/Ultra\/Course_Content\/Mobile_Friendly_Courses\/Get_Started_Blackboard_App\">Blackboard app<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>for students installed.
