That\u2019s the idea behind this new \u201cOver the Shoulder\u201d video series: to provide you with the opportunity to watch over the virtual shoulder of an experienced user pursuing an answer to a commonly-asked question. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The videos in this series are not intended to be instructional, at least not in the sense that the viewer is walked through each step with a detailed explanation of exactly where to click, what value to select, and so forth. Instead, the assumption is that you are already familiar with the basics of BW reporting and just want to see how things are done; delivered in a succinct fashion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>These are the elements of the Over the Shoulder video series:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Finding Open Commitments<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span>In this video, the question considered is \u201chow can I view all of my open commitments?\u201d This\u00a0<\/span><span><a href=\"https:\/\/bostonuniversity.sumtotal.host\/core\/pillarRedirect?relyingParty=LM&amp;url=app%2Fmanagement%2FLMS_ActDetails.aspx%3FActivityId%3D7933%26UserMode%3D0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">5-minute video<i class=\"icon-external-link external\"><\/i><\/a><\/span><span>\u00a0seeks to answer that question and, in the process, you can see how to simplify the data display by suppressing zero-dollar commitments and how to easily separate encumbrances related to external or internal vendors (i.e., FSR\u2019s and ISR\u2019s).
