The service combines the Salesforce CRM platform, Marketing Cloud, TargetX, and a suite of supporting applications to provide features and functionality to enhance the university&#8217;s relationship with prospective students and their families. The Student Recruitment service supports the recruitment of undergraduate students by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/admissions\/\">Office of Undergraduate Admissions<\/a>. Future implementations are expected to expand use to other areas.<\/p>\n<h2>Benefits<\/h2>\n<p>The Student Recruitment service improves capabilities for engaging and communicating with prospective students through modern, preference-based communication options, targeted and personalized recruiting campaigns, and event management capabilities.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Features<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides trackable, preference-based communication to respond to inquirers and prospective students.<\/li>\n<li>Generates personalized, targeted communications by segmentation, including geographic region, citizenship, area of interest etc.<\/li>\n<li>Tracks effectiveness of various recruiting campaigns and strategies through reporting of click rate, event registration, event attendance and other measures<\/li>\n<li>Supports communication message automation by use of triggers such as prospect behavior and event triggers<\/li>\n<li>Enables more effective event management practices including notification, registration and RSVP needs, event check-in and data collection methods<\/li>\n<li>Creates many-to-many relationships between prospective students, parents, organizations and associated recruiters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What to Expect<\/h2>\n<p>This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for standard change windows, as described in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/about\/service\/change\/\"> IS&amp;T\u2019s standard policies, procedures, and schedules for making changes.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>BU login name and Kerberos password<\/li>\n<li>BU Salesforce user license and access profile<\/li>\n<li>Training in Student Recruitment functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"GettingStarted\"><\/a>Getting Started<\/h2>\n<p>Currently, access to the Student Recruitment service is limited to the Office of Enrollment and Student Administration (ENSA).
