Help Design a BW Training Workshop<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nEach month, I roll out an introductory workshop involving each of these reporting areas: Funds Management, Grants Management, Supplier Relationship Management, and Payroll. From my perspective, the basic elements of Business Warehouse reporting are well covered in these sessions.<\/p>\n
Beyond the basics, though,\u00a0 I frequently hear from report users that they would like to learn more. “What else do you offer?” is a common refrain as attendees file out of the computer lab following an introductory session. I am completely on board with the idea of adding new training workshops, but here’s the problem: at the same time that I hear “I don’t know what I don’t know about BW reporting” in response to my question regarding what more they would like to learn, my thought is “I don’t know what you don’t know.”<\/p>\n
So where to begin? This is where I need your help. This one-question survey<\/a> is your opportunity to share a question or issue you would like help with. You are a Payroll Coordinator, you have taken the introductory BW Payroll Reporting training session, you have worked with the reports for at least a month (so you’re familiar with how to use them), and you’re ready to take the next step and learn about the Employee Master Data reports. If so, this workshop is for you! We will use your questions to set the agenda in order to make the session as relevant to you as possible. This Help Guide <\/a>describes the steps required to apply the filter.<\/p>\nHow many hours did a weekly paid employee work during a particular time period?<\/strong><\/p>\nIf you\u2019re a payroll coordinator or a manager, this is an easy question to answer. Each of the three primary Labor Distribution reports \u2013 Payroll Inquiry by Distribution (PA12), Payroll Inquiry by Employee (PA15), and Funds Center Report <\/em>\u2013 display the hours worked that correspond to pay for a given period. When one of these reports is run, the initial display includes the Salary<\/strong> Key Figure.<\/p>\nNote the black triangle, which indicates this column contains additional data.
