This feature allows your BU desk phone ring another number simultaneously so you won’t miss a call when you’re away from your desk.<\/p>\n

To enable single number reach:<\/h3>\n
Note: You may need to install a certificate to use the Self Care Portal.<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Login to the Cisco Self Care Portal at: https:\/\/mybuphone.bu.edu\/ucmuser\/<\/a>\u00a0if you are not on campus you will need to first connect to the BU VPN<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter BU username\/Kerberos password (do not include @bu.edu)<\/li>\n
  3. Click on add an additional phone, under the Additional Phones category<\/li>\n
  4. Select Enable Single Number Reach and enter your personal number<\/li>\n
  5. Click Save and you should see your personal number listed under Additional Phones<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once Single Number Reach is enabled, to manage Single Number Reach from your desk phone:<\/p>\n

    1. Press the Mobility softkey<\/li>\n
    2. Press the Select softkey to enable\/disable Mobile Connect<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      While connected to a call, to switch the call from your desk to your remote phone:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Press the Mobility softkey<\/li>\n
      2. Press the Select softkey to send the call to the remote phone<\/li>\n
      3. Answer the remote phone<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        To switch from your remote phone to your desk phone:<\/p>\n

        1. Hang up the call on your remote phone<\/li>\n
