The Kaltura MyMedia area is a private space where media content may be uploaded and managed. From the MyMedia<\/em><\/strong> area you may edit your videos’ options, create clips from your videos, delete videos, publish videos to the Course Media Gallery, and more.<\/p>\n

To add a video to your course (such as an item, assignment, Discussion Board post, blog post, etc.), see Using the Kaltura Media Mashup tool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To view and manage all media you have created, see Kaltura MyMedia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Using MyMedia<\/h3>\n

Ensure Your MyMedia Login is Activated<\/h3>

  1. Please go to <\/span>https:\/\/mymedia.bu.edu<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. In the upper right corner, click the <\/span>Profile <\/span><\/b>icon \"MyMedia <\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. From the menu that appears, click <\/span>Login. \"MyMedia<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n
  4. The BU Kerberos login screen will appear. Enter your BU username and password. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. You should be logged in! If you are not, please <\/span>submit a help ticket<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Uploading Content through the MyMedia Portal<\/h3>
            <\/p>\n

            You may upload media through Blackboard or directly through the MyMedia Portal. To upload videos directly to MyMedia:<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Go to http:\/\/mymedia.bu.edu and login.<\/li>\n
            2. Click the “+Create” button then select “Upload.” \"MyMedia<\/li>\n
            3. On the Upload page, drag and drop the file from your desktop or folder, or click “Select Files” to browse through your files. \"Uploads<\/li>\n
            4. Your chosen media will begin processing. \"Media<\/li>\n
            5. Click “Edit” to add a title, description and tags to your media. You can also choose to keep your media as Private (default) or publish it to a public channel. \"Edit<\/li>\n
            6. When your media is finished processing, click “Media Page” to go to the media page, view your media and added captions and quizzes. \"Go<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
