Resolved – Service-impacting Incident – Mainframe service currently unavailable

Description of Impact: Network access via subnet 90 (mainframe, servers, other equipment) within the 881 Computer Center is unavailable.
Resolution: Power was restored to the rack that services network switch devices in the 881 Computer Center
Additional Information: At 3:55 PM Network Systems and Engineering monitors detected the loss of network connectivity on all switches located on one rack within the 881 Commonwealth Ave. computer room. Engineers worked with Facilities Electricians to restore power to the rack (completed at 4:29) and switch devices were observed coming back online shortly after that.
