Stephen oversees data collection, analysis, and reporting for BU Sustainability on a range of topics such as energy, waste, green buildings, and transportation, and key reports such as BU’s GHG (greenhouse gas) inventory, and STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System).

Stephen’s educational background is in environmental science, international affairs, natural resources and sustainable development. He is the inaugural Vice-Chair for Faculty & Staff of Color Community Network with BU Diversity & Inclusion. Currently, he serves as a Community Liasion for the Community Network. Beyond BU, he serves as a Committee Member, STARS Steering Committee, and an Advisory Council Member, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
