He was previously a postdoctoral research scholar in economics at the University of Chicago and is a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford\u2019s Smith School. Rob\u2019s research lies within applied microeconomics, with a focus on energy and environmental markets, transportation, firm and labor productivity, and digital platforms. Rob\u2019s research has been featured in the <em>Harvard Business Review<\/em>, <em>The Wall Street Journal <\/em>and <em>the Financial Times<\/em>. He holds a PhD from Imperial College London and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
