The 2026 session of RISE was a great success. Please check back on December 17 for details about next summer\u2019s program and to submit an application.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In summer 2026, the total charge for a commuter student enrolled in the RISE program was $6,415. The total charge for a residential student was $10,735, which includes tuition, housing, dining (1<\/span>9<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>meals per week), and all fees<\/span>. Summer 2027 rates will be posted on December 17.<\/p>\n

The total charge for the RISE program covers textbooks, academic materials, and all sponsored activities during the program. A nonrefundable deposit (applied to tuition) is required once you commit to attending RISE to secure your place in the program.<\/p>\n

A fee is added to a student\u2019s account for each Student Health Services visit.<\/p>\n

The $75 application fee and spending money are not included in the total charge. You may also purchase a membership to BU\u2019s Fitness & Recreation Center for an additional fee when you arrive on campus. Please note that, per FitRec’s policy, students must be 16 years or older to use the facilities.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Application fees and tuition deposits are nonrefundable. No refund or reduction in the total charge will be made if you arrive to the program late, leave the program early, or are dismissed from the program due to a violation of the program guidelines.<\/p>\n

Financial aid<\/h2>\n

Limited financial aid is available for the RISE<\/a> program. Please note that awards are based on financial need.<\/p>\n

Financial aid <\/span>requests and supporting <\/span>documents must be uploaded with your program application<\/span>. <\/span>To <\/span>reveal <\/span>the financial aid request form<\/span> in the application<\/span>, you must answer \u201cYes\u201d to the \u201cWould you like to apply for <\/span>financial aid?\u201d question. Once you enter \u201cYes<\/span>\u201d,<\/span> the financial aid request form will appear in the left navigation panel<\/span>. <\/span><\/strong>We do not accept financial aid requests via email.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n
