You\u2019ll find links on this page to several departmental websites and faculty profiles. Take some time to visit the sites and review the profiles. Not only will you get a sense of the exciting research going on at BU, but you will be able to identify professors whose research interests match your own.<\/p>\n<p>As a RISE Internship student, you will tackle a research project and acquire valuable technical and analytical skills, culminating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/summer\/high-school-programs\/rise-internship-practicum\/calendar-of-events\/poster-symposium\/\">Poster Symposium<\/a>. In some cases, research interns will submit their work to national science fair contests such as the Regeneron Science Talent Search.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the six weeks of the program, you will participate in weekly workshops that provide insight into the scientific process, research ethics, reading a research paper, making a poster, and networking in the scientific community.
