Students often need to adjust their schedules by adding, changing, or dropping courses. Students registered in Summer Term courses may adjust their schedule on the MyBU Student Portal<\/a> until the add\/drop deadline for their particular course. No registration changes are possible once the add\/drop deadline has passed.<\/p>\n Some instructors do not allow students to join their course once it has begun. It is recommended that you register for and attend summer courses by their first meeting date. During add\/drop week, if you want to add a course after it has started, you should first contact the instructor to receive permission to add.<\/p>\n Students may not enroll in two classes that meet at the same time. This includes classes whose meeting times overlap for any portion of class time.<\/p>\n Please note:<\/strong> Visiting international students must email a Summer Add\/Drop form<\/a> to sumintl@bu.edu<\/a> in order to adjust their schedule.<\/p>\n Absence from class or non-payment does not constitute an official withdrawal or dropped course. Students who do not officially drop a course by the drop deadline are held responsible for full tuition and fees.<\/strong>\u00a0If your plans change and you are unable to attend a course for which you have registered, you must officially drop\/withdraw from the course.<\/p>\n You can drop\/withdraw from summer courses until the drop\/withdrawal deadlines using the MyBU Student Portal<\/a> or by completing a Summer Add\/Drop form<\/a> and sending it to the Summer Term office<\/a>.<\/p>\n Please note: <\/strong>If you are a visiting international student attending Summer Term on a Boston University Summer I-20, you must maintain full-time enrollment in the summer.
