Fitness & Recreation Center
Boston University’s Fitness & Recreation Center provides approximately 270,000 square feet of space for physical education , non-credit courses, intramurals, club sports, student organizations, and more. It also includes a center for rehabilitation, fitness/conditioning and Emergency Medical Services education; expansive locker rooms for men, women and families; snack bar; pro shop; equipment issue; children’s area, and administrative offices.
Case Physical Education Center
The Case Center includes Nickerson Field, tennis courts and the Walter Brown Arena (ice rink), where there are open skate hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The sailing program features instructional classes as well as leisure sailing. A boating swim test is required before any on-the-water participation.
Track & Tennis Center
TTC contains an indoor track, exterior jogging lane, tennis/basketball courts, aerobics space, locker rooms, and other facilities. Open recreation hours and space are limited and vary from season to season.
