Our October Library Conversation event will focus on the scholarly work of\u00a0<\/span>Rev. Dr. Anastasia E. B. Kidd<\/strong>.\u00a0 A lecturer in the School of Theology, Rev. Dr. Kidd is Director of Contextual Education.<\/strong> Having previously served as the School\u2019s Director of Enrollment for 17 years, h<\/span>er research focuses on important support services for seminary students and, more recently, body theology.<\/p>\n Our conversation with Rev. Dr. Kidd will be centered on the sections “Prologue: Welcome to the Party” and\u00a0 “Chapter 1: A Big Fat Child of God,” in her new book, Fat Church: Claiming a Gospel of Fat Liberation<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n About the series:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>The School of Theology Library is proud to sponsor Library Conversations: Research and Scholarship at the School of Theology.\u00a0 Each conversation is focused on the scholarly work of a faculty member, doctoral student, or other member of the Boston University School of Theology community.\u00a0 The library provides an article or book chapter written by the author as the focus for the conversation.<\/p>\n
