Most of the computers require a BU log-in;\u00a0 however, the two located directly on the right of the library entrance are kiosk-style stations (no log-in), reserved for visitor access.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Setting Up Wi-Fi<\/h3>\n<p>All Boston University students, faculty, and staff can access Wi-Fi for their wireless enabled device (computer, laptop, cell phone) as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From your computer or device, select <strong>eduroam<\/strong>\u00a0from the list of available networks.<\/li>\n<li>Log in to <strong>eduroam<\/strong> using your full BU email address in the form login@bu.edu.<\/li>\n<li>Provide the password you use to access your BU email account. For most people at BU, this password is the BU Kerberos password that you use to access most other BU resources.<\/li>\n<li>If you are prompted to accept the certificate, you should do so.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visitors can use <strong>BU Guest (unencrypted)<\/strong> Wi-Fi by following the instructions at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/infrastructure\/networks\/wireless\/guest\">www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/infrastructure\/networks\/wireless\/guest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Scanning<\/h2>\n<p>Our book scanner is available<strong> free of charge<\/strong> at the School of Theology Library to all library visitors. It is located halfway down the main hallway of the library on the left.\u00a0\u00a0Materials can be scanned into PDF, text-searchable PDF, JPEG, and Word file formats. The files can be sent to your email address (5 MB maximum size), uploaded to Google Drive, or saved on a USB (maximum 250 pages).<br \/>\n<em>Note: All document scanning is subject to <a href=\"http:\/\/codes.lp.findlaw.com\/uscode\/17\/1\/107\">U.S. Copyright Law<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Printing<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"The IS&amp;T MyPrint printer in the STH Library\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignright wp-image-9123\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sthlibrary\/files\/2021\/09\/printer-2021-angle.jpg 2016w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The School of Theology Library has a <strong>MyPrint printer <\/strong>located by the scanner, which is connected to\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/bu.edu\/myprint\"><strong>BU IS&amp;T&#8217;s MyPrint<\/strong><\/a> system, allowing <strong>BU students, faculty, and staff<\/strong> to print documents from our computers using their printing allocation, which is updated each semester. If you exceed your print sheet allocation for the semester, you can still print using BU Convenience Points, which can be purchased on the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/studentlink\">StudentLink<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From an STH Library computer simply click &#8220;print&#8221; on a document and choose the printer &#8220;MyPrintBW&#8221; for black and white printing.<\/li>\n<li>To release a print job, go to any printer on BU&#8217;s campus (including the one in the STH Library) and scan your BU ID (or type in your BU username and password). Select the document you wish to print on the touchscreen, and it will begin printing immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><\/strong><strong>You can also set up your personal computer to print to any MyPrint printer, including the one at the School of Theology Library.<\/strong> Consult BU IS&amp;T&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/support\/printing\/myprint\/myprint-configure\/\"><strong>step-by-step guide<\/strong><\/a> on setting up your computer to print to the MyPrint printer.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, there is currently no option for visitors to print.<\/p>\n<h3>Copying<\/h3>\n<p><span>Instructions for copying with the printer can be found on the\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/cccs\/printing\/myprint\/faq\/\">MyPrint FAQ page<\/a><\/strong><span>, under \u201cCan I make a copy on a MyPrint printer?\u201d Unfortunately, there is currently no option for visitors to make photocopies.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Computing The STH Library has\u00a07 reference computers at the front of the library.
