His first book, <a href=\"https:\/\/global.oup.com\/academic\/product\/persisting-in-the-good-9780197830444?cc=us&amp;lang=en&amp;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Persisting in the Good: Thomas Aquinas and Early Chinese Ethics<\/em><\/a>, explores the intelligibility of moral language across religious traditions. He is currently working on a second book project tracing shifting conceptions of \u201cnature\u201d and \u201claw\u201d from Thomas Aquinas to Richard Hooker, Montesquieu, and early modern Chinese reformers. Tentatively entitled <em>The Mutations of Natural Law<\/em>, the volume examines the political consequences of Thomistic natural law across the Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>His articles on method in comparative theology and comparative religious ethics, Confucian ethics, James Baldwin, and Confucian and Christian historiography of homoeroticism have appeared or are forthcoming in <em>Modern Theology<\/em>, <em>Journal of Religious Ethics<\/em>, <em>Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics<\/em>, and <em>GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>At the University, Yin serves as Core Faculty in the Women\u2019s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program and as Affiliated Faculty in the Department of Classical Studies, Global Medieval Studies, and the Center for the Study of Asia.<\/p>\n<h2>Publications<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/book\/61803\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Persisting in the Good: Thomas Aquinas and Early Chinese Ethics<\/em><\/a>.
