The Church Administrator is responsible for communications, administration, building management, site coordination, coordination with the students who operate the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter (HSHS) and supervision of the church sexton.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major responsibilities include:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Coordinate oral and written communications and publications<br \/>\n\u25cf Schedule and manage building use by church groups and community partners<br \/>\n\u25cf Participate in staff meetings and serve as a liaison to the church council<br \/>\n\u25cf Provide administrative support to staff and volunteers<br \/>\n\u25cf Process invoices and donations and manage purchasing<br \/>\n\u25cf Manage church office systems, procedures and technology<br \/>\n\u25cf Supervise the sexton<br \/>\n\u25cf Arrange all needed building maintenance, repairs, and all required inspections<br \/>\n\u25cf Collaborate and maintain open communication with student leadership of the HSHS<br \/>\n\u25cf Be available Sundays and flex hours to support building use<br \/>\n\u25cf Full job description available upon request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Strong oral and written communication skills<br \/>\n\u25cf Experience working with diverse individuals and groups<br \/>\n\u25cf Ability to work independently<br \/>\n\u25cf Willingness to support the mission of University Lutheran Church<br \/>\n\u25cf Comfortable working with online meeting applications (Zoom, etc).<br \/>\n\u25cf Passes the Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><br \/>\n55-60K + Benefits<\/p>\n<p><strong>Church website<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unilu.org\">www.unilu.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We are a Christian ministry of and to members of the academic communities of Cambridge and Greater Boston.
