Christ Church United in Lowell, MA is seeking a part-time (approximately six hours per week) Director of Youth to help us build a youth program.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe candidate for this position must be able to work independently and be self-motivated; should be able to recruit, manage, and encourage volunteers; requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with the church staff, parents and other congregants.\u00a0 This person must be technologically savvy, have good organizational skills and have the demonstrated ability to connect and engage the youth, organize safe activities, ensure responsible behavior, and grow and promote the youth program within Christ Church United and throughout the community.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe candidate should demonstrate evidence of a maturing faith.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nA college degree or post-high school education in education or ministry preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe Director of Youth will be supervised by the Minister of Education and Art as well as the Senior Minister.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nThis is a part time position of approximately six hours per week at $15.00 per hour.\u00a0 Transportation is necessary for visiting youth and attending events at church and in the community.<\/span><\/span>
