FPUU is a small, friendly, creative congregation (~100 members, with ~15 kids in the K-6 RE program) located 15 minutes West of Route 128 (Westwood\/Dedham exit).<br \/>\n10 hours\/week, September-June only: 3-4 hours most Sunday mornings (one Sunday off each month), other hours flexible during the week.<br \/>\nResponsibilities include:<br \/>\n\u2022 selecting, preparing for, and leading weekly RE activity for mixed-age classroom;<br \/>\n\u2022 scheduling volunteer assistants (from available parents &amp; teens in congregation) as needed;<br \/>\n\u2022 coordinating and communicating as needed with parents, kids, volunteers; checking in weekly with the minister; checking in monthly with the RE Committee; providing monthly update for the board liaison and occasional newsletter column for the congregation.<br \/>\n\u2022 tracking registrations, attendance, background checks, activity summaries, and other required paperwork.<br \/>\n\u2022 assisting minister with aspects of multigenerational worship, depending on capacity and interest.<br \/>\nIdeal candidate is warm, welcoming, and able to connect with children and adults; has commitment to (or enthusiasm for) liberal religion and basic principles of Unitarian Universalism (http:\/\/www.uua.org\/beliefs\/what-we-believe\/principles); can work with multiple ages and learning styles in a group; has experience with Spirit Play (http:\/\/www.spirit-play.com\/), Godly Play, or Montessori approach to education; has capacity for organization and attention to detail.<br \/>\nSalary is $8300-9200\/year (this meets UUA Fair Compensation Guidelines for RE Coordinators), no benefits.
