With our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sth\/about\/diversity-statement\/#principles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Community Principles<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sth\/about\/diversity-statement\/#mission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mission Statement<\/a> at the heart of every discussion, stakeholders discussed the changing higher education landscape and how STH could best adapt to meeting the needs of the future of theological education. The result is a strategic plan that will serve as a guide for \u201csuch a time as this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Key development metrics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic work done over the course of <strong>two<\/strong> years and <strong>300<\/strong> hours invested<\/li>\n<li><strong>32<\/strong> faculty, <strong>20<\/strong> administrators, <strong>3<\/strong> alumni, and <strong>18<\/strong> Dean&#8217;s Advisory Board members involved<\/li>\n<li>Approximately<strong> 100<\/strong> student participants surveyed in focus group meetings and <strong>50<\/strong> alumni survey responses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Core team members from each area of the School of Theology faculty and administration worked side-by-side for two\u00a0years to develop the 2022-2030 plan.
