Ray Joyce brings more than 35 years of non-profit management and fundraising experience to BUSTH along with a marketing and sales background in the private sector. He has spent a good portion of his career to date in public television fundraising and managing a service for visually impaired audiences developed at Greater Blue Hill Educational Foundation (GBH, formerly WGBH), running day-to-day operations for the station\u2019s new media department and later heading up marketing, development, and educational services at WGBY. Joyce also served as executive director for the grassroots church reform organization \u201cVoice of the Faithful.\u201d Prior to joining the School of Theology (STH), he was the director of development at Lazarus House Ministries, a gospel-based human services organization, where he led their first-ever capital campaign, surpassing their $5 million goal. In total, Joyce has raised more than $100 million for four different non-profits, including Boston University. Earlier in his career, Joyce worked in marketing and sales at Wang Laboratories, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Costa Rica working with a women\u2019s cooperative, and later volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in the US and abroad. Also, a graduate of Merrimack College, he was a member of their Alumni Executive Board. Ray earned an MBA with a focus in non-profit management at Boston University while fundraising for the College of Engineering. He lives in Acton with his wife Michele who is a BUSSW alumna. They are active members of St. Elizabeth of Hungary parish where Ray has volunteered as a confirmation leader, a youth ministry volunteer and on the church finance committee. They have three grown children, all of whom are also Terriers. Joyce is honored to collaborate with STH alumni and friends in securing major gifts in support of the school\u2019s mission which is now more important than ever.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rev. Andrew Kimble enjoys sustaining collaborative partnerships between educational institutions and the wider public. At Boston University School of Theology (STH), Rev. Kimble co-leads philanthropic and alumni engagement initiatives, helping to raise financial support for the school and keep STH’s 4,000 alumni connected by organizing special events and directing the online lifelong learning program. He\u2019s served as an educational advisor for the Trauma-Responsive Congregations grant project and co-directed the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Rev. Kimble’s an ordained itinerant elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, but he currently serves as interim pastor at the Eliot Congregational Church of Roxbury (UCC). He\u2019s also an advisory board member for Cambridge Forum and the Black Sports Ministry Network. In his free time, Rev. Kimble relaxes with family and friends, listens to jazz, mentors youth, and struggles on crossword puzzles.<\/p>\n
