Learning Session: Public Speaking & Presentation Skills

Whether you present at meetings, facilitate workshops, or speak to partners across campuses, clear and confident communication makes a difference. This interactive session will help BU staff strengthen their public speaking and presentation skills through practical strategies and guided practice, led by Lecturer Jim Wallace (Pardee). Participants will explore different techniques for organizing your content, managing nerves, engaging with a wide-range of diverse audiences, and delivering messages with clarity and impact. You’ll leave with actionable tools, personalized feedback, and greater confidence to represent your department and ideas effectively in any setting.
