Wade Taylor is a clinical researcher interested in addressing the social and medical determinants of health among LGBTQ persons \u2014 primarily concerning HIV and the prevention and treatment of the infection. His most recent study, presented at the 2019 International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Science in Mexico City, examined the efficacy of a smartphone-based music intervention as an alternative to opioid use for chronic pain among patients living with HIV.<\/p>\n
An affiliated researcher at The Fenway Institute at Fenway Health in Boston, Taylor has worked with interdisciplinary teams that have received funding from the Harvard University Center for AIDS Research, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
