The presentation, \u201cUnderstanding Process Groups: An Experiential Workshop,\u201d was given by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ssw\/profile\/sera-godfrey-grantz\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecturer Ser\u00e1 Godfrey-Kaplan (MSW\u201908)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ssw\/profile\/adam-glick\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adam Glick (MSW\u201994)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ssw\/profile\/mark-gianino-licsw\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Mark Gianino<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Tfawa Haynes (MSW\u201907), Crystal Jones (MSW\u201912), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ssw\/profile\/donna-mclaughlin\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Donna McLaughlin<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ssw\/students-and-faculty-honored-at-2021-bussw-commencement\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rabiatu Orlandimeje (MSW\u201921)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and Faith Perez (MSW\u201919). They engaged in a real-time mock process group, followed by a discussion of group dynamics and interventions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McLaughlin also gave a presentation called &#8220;Racial and Social Justice in Group Work Education Today.&#8221; She discussed how social work group educators can infuse curriculums with anti-oppressive theory, literature, activities, and digital media to achieve a racial and social justice lens. \u201cThe focus group discussion provided an opportunity for participants to share strategies for the development of a contemporary, innovative, and inclusive course curriculum,\u201d said McLaughlin.
