The workshop, \u201cLessons Learned from Project BRIGHT,\u201d is hosted by the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucsf.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of California San Francisco<\/a><\/span> and the Early Trauma Treatment Network<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Participants will learn the context for traumatic stress and substance use disorders and an intervention that emphasizes developmental progress and resilience. In addition, participants will learn how to help clients:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recover from substance misuse<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Build reflective functioning<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enhance emotional regulation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paris and O\u2019Donnell will also illustrate the interventions through case vignettes and research findings.
