Anti-Oppressive Learning and Practice Labs<\/h3>
<\/p>\n

The Anti\u2013Oppressive Learning and Practice Labs are hosted by Boston University School of Social Work\u2019s Equity and Inclusion Committee. These monthly events will take place virtually and cover a variety topics related to social justice, equity and inclusion, and social work with an emphasis on critical reflection, building skills, and collective action. Our learning labs are open to BUSSW faculty, staff, and students and will follow a workshop format.<\/p>\n

During the first 30 minutes, there will be a presentation on a specific anti\u2013oppressive practice technique. The final 30 minutes of the lab will give participants the opportunity to reflect, engage in group discussions, and practice skills in breakout rooms.<\/p>\n
