Online Program Advisor (Midwest)

Lisa Marcus, LCSW, received her MSW from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2010, participating in the Hartford Partnership for Programs on Aging Education. Lisa has received special training in the areas of older adults and families, oncology, grief/loss and cognitive behavioral therapy. Lisa has worked with adults (aged 18 and beyond) in a variety of settings including home and community settings, to medical and inpatient settings. At present Lisa resides in Elmhurst, IL, where she opened her private practice in March of 2017. In addition to her practice, Lisa facilitates support groups as needed to a local community nonprofit, Wellness House, providing therapeutic support to individuals and their loved ones touched by a cancer diagnosis. Lisa has been a field advisor for BUSSW since May of 2018.
