Hello! My name is Isabella and I am a first-year, full-time student in the On-Campus MSW Program at BUSSW. I am a Clinical Practice major with hopes of specializing in Trauma & Violence.

I am from the South Side of Chicago. I gradated from my undergrad in May 2022 with a double major in psychology and communication, and I began BUSSW soon after in September of 2022.

I am passionate about mental health and look forward to being able to offer services in Spanish to begin to bridge the gap between underrepresented people in mental health. I hope to become a licensed clinical social worker while supporting clients through advocacy and social justice lenses. As a Latina, I hope to represent people of color and let them explore their identities in a safe manner. As well as being open to their mental health, I hope to work in a nonprofit that serves survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

I am enjoying getting to meet new people, explore a new city, and learning. In my free time, I love to read, watch Netflix and explore!
