Beyond Borders: Advances in Global Welfare, a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal focused on advancing research, policy, and practice related to social welfare issues across national and regional boundaries, was created by Boston University School of Social Work (BUSSW) Associate Professor Margaret Lombe, with Lyndsey McMahan, assistant dean of Teaching & Innovation as its managing editor. Published biannually, it is an open-access journal for social work practitioners, scholars, and educators that showcases real-world impact and strengthens approaches to social welfare worldwide.
