Welcome!<\/h2>\n

Orientation aims to facilitate new students\u2019 transition into Boston University School of Public Health and to enrich each individual\u2019s unique educational experience. You\u2019ll learn about life inside and outside the classroom, from academics to research, employment, and volunteer opportunities. Orientation is also an excellent opportunity to meet your peers, the faculty and staff, and deans of the School.<\/p>\n

Orientation is designed to introduce new students to the school, acquaint them with resources and involvement opportunities, and officially welcome them to the \u201cTerrier Family\u201d. **Any IDs printed at Charles River Campus will not work<\/strong> at the Med Campus. All IDs will be prepared by the Medical Campus ID Office**<\/p>\n

Terrier Card ID Photo Upload Guidelines for Incoming Students<\/a><\/p>\n

Terrier Card ID Photo Upload Deadline:\u00a0Tuesday, August 11th<\/sup>, 2026.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Students starting class in August:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>After uploading your photo by the deadline, please pick up your BU ID from the BU Medical Campus ID Office (650 Albany St.). They’re open Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. Note they are closed from 9-9:15 AM and 12-12:30 PM each day).<\/p>\n

Students starting classes September 2nd:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Graduate Student Life will pickup all printed BU IDs from the BUMC ID Office to distribute at Orientation Check-In on 8\/31 and 9\/1.<\/p>\n
