Students pursuing an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/education\/degrees-and-programs\/master-of-public-health-programs\/\">on-campus MPH<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/education\/degrees-and-programs\/ma-ms-programs\/\">MS<\/a> degree can switch between full-time and part-time status. Experience a public health education designed to fit your schedule from BUSPH, ranked the <strong>#7 graduate school of public health<\/strong> by U.S. News &amp; World Report.<\/p>\n<p>The primary benefit of becoming a part-time graduate student is the ability to earn a public health degree while staying committed to your current career. Pursuing your Master of Science (MS) or Master of Public Health (MPH) program on a part-time schedule also allows you to apply new skills you\u2019re learning in the classroom directly to your ongoing work.<\/p>\n<p>BU strives to make our part-time public health programs accessible to our students through financial aid and student support services. <strong>We no longer require or review GRE scores for admission.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Part-Time Public Health Programs<\/h2>\n<p>At Boston University, part-time status is defined as fewer than 12 credits per semester. Part-time options for our public health programs include courses that meet once per week, during the day as well as at night.<\/p>\n<h3>On-Campus MPH Program<\/h3>\n<p>You can set your own pace for completing your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/education\/degrees-and-programs\/master-of-public-health-programs\/\">on-campus MPH program<\/a> as a part-time graduate student with the flexibility to change your status as needed. BUSPH course schedules include Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.\u00a0 There are several on-campus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/education\/degrees-and-programs\/master-of-public-health-programs\/core-curriculum\/\">MPH core courses<\/a> that are also offered online in the Fall or Spring semesters. You have up to five years to complete the MPH (or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/education\/degrees-and-programs\/ma-ms-programs\/\">MS degree program<\/a>) on a part-time basis.<\/p>\n<h3>Online MPH Program<\/h3>\n<p><span>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/education\/degrees-and-programs\/online-master-of-public-health\/\">Online MPH <\/a>program offers a fully online program that is s<\/span>elf-paced for working professionals to continue their full-time careers without disruption. There are no in-person courses, orientation, seminars, or meetings required.<\/p>\n<h3>International Students<\/h3>\n<p>International students are required to be full time, except during their last semester.
