It offers a promising approach to these issues within public policy and within public health.<\/p>\n<p>People with multiple marginalized, intersecting identities face\u00a0individual- and systems-level challenges in accessing medical, mental health, and social services. This student-organized event aims to\u00a0provide training for students and those working in health-oriented professions, including social work, public health, medicine, community health work, nursing, and dentistry to provide better care and eliminate health inequities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, April 21, from\u00a0<\/strong><strong>8:30am &#8211; 3:00pm <\/strong>(lunch will be served)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Hiebert Lounge, 14th floor<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>72 East Concord Street, Boston, MA<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/intersectionality-and-health-breaking-down-barriers-to-quality-care-tickets-44192653416\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Please register<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>The conference seeks to center\u00a0voices of people with these identities and encourage interprofessional\u00a0collaboration to break\u00a0down silos.
