There is 1 comment on Income and Health, Part 1

  1. Dear Dr. Galea

Thank you so much for a very interesting and challenging article. I work as a registered dental hygienist at an FQHC in Sacramento, CA (Cares Community Health). I also volunteer in providing dental care and dental/health education in Central America. I am struck with the idea that education and community advocates can be a key to income and health disparities. The mere talking about health and wealth, in all aspects of a life, whether as an individual, family or community, may help spark solutions to improvement of health and wealth. I have hope and confidence in the resilience of people to find solutions to improving health and wealth when we gather and discuss problems and find solutions.

I look forward to Part 2.

    With kind regards.
    Paula A. Lee
